| Coal Seam Gas mining in the Hunter Valley | 2nd May 2011 |
Much has been discussed in the Hunter Valley of late regarding the issue of Coal Seam Gas mining, culminating in the recent 60 Minutes story on the issue of hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking". And only last night, SBS screened "Gasland", an American documentary on gas mining and the potentially disasterous effects of fracking. We can not afford to let the Hunter Valley, one of Australia's premier wine regions, suffer the same fate and we urge all wine drinkers to support our call to the NSW Government for action. |

201 has received DA approval from Cessnock Council to build a new 2 bedroom dwelling for holiday lettings. Due for completion in late 2010, it will provide tourists with modern self-contained accommodation sleeping up to 6 adults. Overlooking the dam on our 20 acre vineyard, it will feature a large deck looking out to the Brokenback Ranges. |
